Now that we’re in the new year and you might be looking to make a positive change to your eating habits just remember, it doesn’t have to be an overwhelming task. Here are some simple tips I've gathered to help get you started:
1. Start slow3. Don’t skip meals
Eating regularly is important for maintaining your energy levels and ensuring you get all the nutrients you need. Aim to eat at least three meals a day, with small snacks in between if needed.
4. Drink more water
Changing your eating habits can have a profound effect on your life. Eating the right foods can help you lose weight, improve your mood, reduce stress and even reduce the risk of certain diseases.
How can making these small changes help you in the new year?
1. Improved Mood
Eating a balanced diet can help to improve your mood and mental clarity. Eating a diet that’s high in fruits and veggies, lean proteins, whole grains and healthy fats can help to provide the nutrients your brain needs to stay sharp and ward off depression.
2. Increased Energy
Eating balanced meals can help to keep your energy levels up throughout the day. Eating too much processed food or skipping meals can cause your energy levels to drop, leading to fatigue and the desire to snack on unhealthy foods.
3. Reduced Risk of Disease
Eating a healthy diet can help to reduce your risk of developing certain diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. Eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, lean proteins

Just remember to be patient with yourself and don't get discouraged if you slip up – just keep working at it and you will eventually succeed.
